Numeris β Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Numeris collects, why, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. It covers the Numeris iOS app published by zortproductions (Istanbul, Turkey).
Numeris is free, needs no sign-up, and is supported by advertising.
No sign-up required. Automatic anonymous accounts. Delete anytime in two taps.
1. The short version
- Numeris never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
- On first launch it creates an anonymous account for you automatically, so your score survives reinstalling the app. That account is identified by a random code, not by you.
- The only thing you write that other people can see is your nickname.
- We show ads through Google AdMob. Personalised ads happen only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
- You can delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app, in two taps, with no email to anyone.
2. What we collect
2.1 The automatic account
The first time you open Numeris, the app creates an account on our server without asking you anything. It consists of:

The credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. That is what lets your score come back if you delete the app and reinstall it.
2.2 Your play data
Stored against that account:
- Best score, best stage, total XP, games played, coin balance, league, last seen date
- A record of each finished run: score, stage, how long it took, lives lost, best combo, whether it was solo or a duel, and the app version
- Achievements you have unlocked
- A ledger of in-game coin spending (coins are earned by playing or by watching a rewarded ad β Numeris has no in-app purchases and takes no payment information of any kind)
2.3 Multiplayer
If you play a 1v1 duel we store the room, the events exchanged between the two devices (joins, answers, finishes) and a record of the finished match. There is no chat and no messaging in Numeris β the only thing that passes between two players is game moves and the nickname each has chosen.
2.4 Reports
If you report another player's nickname, we store who reported it, whose it was, the nickname as it read at the time, and the reason. We use it only to moderate names.
2.5 Usage data (you can switch this off)
Numeris records its own product analytics β which screens are opened, which puzzle rules are answered correctly, when an ad was offered and whether it was accepted. These events carry a random session identifier, your app version, platform and language.
This data is ours alone: it goes to our own server, it is not sold, not shared, and not used to follow you around other apps or websites. You can turn it off at any time in Profile β Privacy β Usage data.
2.6 Advertising
Numeris shows ads via Google AdMob, which is operated by Google. Two consent layers sit in front of it:
- If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent form appears first and asks what you allow.
- iOS then asks whether Numeris may track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, your device advertising identifier (IDFA) is not read and no cross-app tracking happens. The game plays exactly the same either way.
Google may process technical data such as your IP address, device type, coarse location derived from IP, and ad interactions in order to serve and measure ads. Google acts as an independent controller for this. Its own policy is here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
You can change your advertising consent at any time in Profile β Privacy β Ad privacy settings.
2.7 Technical diagnostics
Google's ad software also collects technical data about how it is running: crash logs, performance data such as launch time, hang rate and energy use, and other diagnostic information. Google uses this to keep its software working and to measure advertising.
Numeris itself does not run a crash reporter and has no analytics SDK of its own β the diagnostics on this list come from the ad software, not from us.
2.8 What we do not collect
No real name, no phone number, no address, no payment data, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no camera, no precise GPS location, and no health data. Numeris asks for none of these permissions.
There is no email address for you either: the only thing that looks like one is the non-deliverable random string described in Section 2.1, which is an account identifier and cannot be used to contact you.
3. Where it is stored
Play data and accounts are stored on our own server, running PocketBase, hosted in Germany (EU). Advertising data is processed by Google on its own infrastructure, which may be outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, Google's transfer safeguards apply β see Google's policy linked above.
4. How long we keep it
- Your account and play data: until you delete the account.
- Usage analytics: kept in aggregate; individual event rows are tied to your account and are deleted with it.
- Finished duel records: these are also the other player's record of their own match, so they are kept β but your account reference is removed from them when you delete your account. What is left contains no identifier belonging to you.
- Reports you filed: deleted with your account.
5. Deleting everything
Open Profile β Account β Delete my account, confirm, and the following happens immediately:
- Your account is deleted from our server, and with it your nickname, scores, run history, achievements, coin ledger, rooms, duel events and any reports you filed.
- The credentials in your device's Keychain and all local game data are erased, so the app goes back to a first-launch state.
- Duel records keep only the anonymous remains described above.
This cannot be undone; there is no recovery path and no grace period. You do not need to email anyone, and we cannot do it for you β the button is the whole mechanism.
If you simply delete the app without using that button, the account stays on our server (and your score returns if you reinstall). Use the button if you want it gone.
6. Children
Numeris is rated 4+ and is suitable for children, but it is not a Kids Category app and it is not directed primarily at children under 13. It contains third-party advertising.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app is built so that there is nothing personal to collect: no sign-up, no contact details, no chat. The one field a child could type into is the nickname, and it is filtered β names containing profanity, phone numbers, email addresses, links or messaging-app handles are rejected before they can be saved, and every player can report a name they think should not be there.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through a nickname or a report, write to contact@zortproductions.com and we will remove it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent.
In practice: deletion and consent withdrawal are both built into the app (Sections 2.5, 2.6 and 5) and are the fastest route. For anything else β a copy of your data, a correction, a complaint β write to contact@zortproductions.com. We answer within 30 days.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal bases are: contract (running the game, leaderboard and duels), legitimate interest (keeping the leaderboard free of abuse, keeping the game working) and consent (personalised advertising, usage analytics). You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security, honestly stated
Traffic between the app and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. Accounts can read and write only their own records; the leaderboard is served by a view that does not contain email addresses or credentials at all.
No system is perfectly secure. What limits the damage here is that we hold so little: there is no real name, email, phone number or payment detail in Numeris to lose.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes. The current version always lives at https://zortproductions.com/numeris-privacy-policy.
